I got off work yesterday and decided to go for a little drive. Along my journey, I stumbled upon one of St. Louis' hidden treasures: The St. Louis Museum of Transportation. I hadn't been since I was a little kid so I decided to stop in. The museum actually houses one of 55 (?) Chrysler Turbine cars! Enough of me talking, enjoy the potato pics!
That's a Stanley Steamer!
1921 Suburban!
Shoutout to Chery_Man with the Mustang.
Hella train pictures, coming in hot!
The wheels on this bad boy were as tall as I am. I'm a hair over six foot two.
Inside the beast.
" Don't tell me what to do."
Sorry for the terrible pictures! I wasn't planning on ending up here and didn't have my real camera with me. Had to deal with the terrible Nexus 5 camera. Anyways. If you're ever in St. Louis, I highly recommend going here. Seriously. Do it. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Just look at that handle bar situation. I'd have to LEAN FORWARD to grab that stick. That's crazy!!!

I knew you'd love it haha I was about to text you a picture of it yesterday but I knew you'd see it here!
I didn't have too much time to spend at the Museum. Got there at 2:30 and they close at 4. I was hauling ass around the place and took 75 pictures. I could have spent hours there!

Definitely worth a visit. Make a day out of it. Take the kids. You can walk through a good amount of train cars which was pretty cool!

Yeah my wife got a groupon $20/4 people. And our neighbor had her buy one, just can't seem to find a good time to go.

You know I've lived here for 14 years and have not been once. It must be a St. Charles county fear of crossing the river that's stopped me. I should go when I'm back on break next.

You need to go. It's a gear head's paradise. Make sure you set aside plenty of time to walk around, though. I was there for an hour and half, took 75 pictures and could have stayed far longer.
